Meet the Dexory Team: Emily, People Manager
Can you briefly introduce yourself and provide an overview of your role within the company?
In my role as People Manager, I am involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle. I work closely with our Human Resources Director and in collaboration with the rest of the People team to ensure that our people strategy, policies and practices follow best practices and support the delivery of our company mission, vision and values.
How has the company changed since you started?
I joined Dexory in August 2023 when we were around 60 employees. We have recently reached 130 employees, and doubling in size has meant a lot of change for the people team. We have had to adapt and create new policies, processes and ways of working in order to still give the team our full support.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career at this company?
If you are ready for a career-defining experience then Dexory is a great place to be. Challenges are seen as opportunities and resilience is rewarded. We are setting sky-high standards and the pace for the logistics industry, and we need Dexorians ready to embrace this vision.
If you could travel back in time and give your younger self one piece of career advice, what would it be?
My advice to my younger self would be not to compare yourself with others and that you will carve out your own path.
