Dexory Opens US Headquarters and Appoints New COO

Nashville TN and London, UK 18 September 2024 - Dexory, the leading logistics robotics and data intelligence company, today announced the next stage of its expansion with the opening of its North American headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Earlier this year, Dexory announced it has deployed solutions across six states in the USA, following its entry to the market in early 2024. Along with the opening of the office, Dexory also announced that Kristen Shannon is joining the Company’s executive team to become Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. Shannon brings a wealth of experience in scaling companies, building processes and strategic plans for businesses such as Monzo, Cisco Meraki and Sonantic. She will work alongside the co-founders, Andrei Danescu, CEO, Adrian Negoita, CTO and Oana Jinga, CC&PO.

The Nashville base will serve as a hub for Dexory where it can showcase and rapidly deploy its robots to various locations across North America, have access to fantastic technical talent and benefit from exceptional transportation links. The offices will also be home to part of Dexory’s support team, a base of operations for its growing sales team, as well as a customer innovation center.

Shannon Brings Deep Operational and Strategic Expertise

Shannon joins Dexory with a distinguished career marked by deep operational and strategic executive experience. She is an experienced COO having held roles with organizations such as General Systems, a geospatial database company focused on large volume sensor data, where she streamlined the company’s operations and commercialized deep technology products for market adoption. Most recently Shannon founded Highliner Technology, a consultancy of senior COOs, to serve scaling businesses with global expansion plans. In her role as a consultant she advised companies such as:

Shannon’s extensive experience advising CEOs, founders, and senior executives makes her an invaluable asset to Dexory. Her key responsibilities will include scaling the company globally, with a specific focus on the US market. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Shannon will be based at Dexory’s main HQ in the United Kingdom.

Rapid growth, industry recognition and new customers

Since the beginning of 2024, Dexory has experienced rapid growth of its team and its deployments in the market. Just last month, Dexory completed further deployments in France, Netherlands, Germany, Middle East and the United Kingdom. These new customers will join companies such as DB Schenker, JAMCO GROUP, Huboo and ID Logistics that are already capturing real-time data daily from their warehouses. In addition to the new customer acquisitions, Dexory has also been recognised as a Cool Vendor in the 2024 Gartner Cool Vendors™ in Logistics and Robotics Technology report.
