Stock Controller
At Dexory, autonomous robots are a critical part of our product offering. We design and build our robots in house and are building new purpose built spaces for assembly, testing and product demos.
We are seeking a meticulous and organised Stock Controller. You will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the inventory of mechanical/electronics engineering components and materials. Your responsibilities will include monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring accurate documentation, and optimising stock processes to meet production demands efficiently. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of all engineering components and materials in stock, utilizing inventory management software (BOMIST)
Monitor stock levels and anticipate demand to ensure adequate supplies are available for production activities.
Coordinate with the Finance/Procurement team to place orders for stock replenishment in a timely manner, considering lead times and production schedules.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective actions as necessary.
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to reconcile physical stock levels with system records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Collaborate with production and logistics teams to coordinate the timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stock management processes to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the stock control function, proposing and implementing process enhancements as appropriate.
Maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to address stock-related issues and facilitate resolution.
Cross functionally coordinate with production, engineering and procurement to manage revisions to our bill of materials and the resulting stock requirements
